What is Sound hunters?

The monsters took the town, and the developer says they hunt with sound. Gunfire, engines, and a failed bunker buzzer pull them. One crouched, still player was ignored in a single recorded pass. That is not a promise that standing in the open is safe. Players also describe faster infected and a large camp patrol. Those variants are reports, so they are not split into separate entries here.

You lose what you carried on that run, including backpack loot, guns in slots 1 and 2, and throwables on G. The safe pocket keeps one stack that is not a weapon. Loot already stored in your base stash stays there.
